Harvesting began on August 23rd with Ciliegiolo, followed by Vermentino and Grenache. After a brief pause due to rain on August 30th, the harvest resumed in early September with Cabernet Franc, Syrah, and—starting September 4th—Sangiovese. Mid-month marked the picking of the Vermentino destined for Belguardo V.
The Cabernet Sauvignon was brought in between September 15th and 25th, concluding with the grapes dedicated to Tenuta Belguardo.
The grapes show an excellent balance of sugar, acidity, and aromas—making 2025 a particularly promising vintage, especially for the red wines.

Grape identity
Grenache, also known as Alicante, finds its ideal soil and climate in Maremma to fully express itself. Traditionally used for structured and characterful red and rosé wines, this grape has shown at Belguardo a remarkable versatility, revealing unexpected potential even in the production of a white wine.
